Tweed River and Nimbin

Wet today in land. Visited some local towns including Nimbin. Most of the buildings had murals at the top. Nimbin hss a diffrrent life style

Nice coastal drive. Spotted more dolphins and the odd whale spout.

Byron Bay lighthouse

Colin doing some whale watching. Did not see any.

Brunswick Hesds

Good surf and board walk out along the Brunswick river.

Lantern festival at Lismore

Jeremy and Pam this reminds us
of the lighted balloons at Hoi An last year.
Many lantern based displays and many young children with their lanterns they made at school.

Lucy Nana thought you might to see some of the dresses at the fair.

Bangalow

Quaint little town. A R Campbell owned lot of land and buildings early in the last century. Wonder if he was a distant relation!
I like the iron gate/door. Maybe a feature for your home.

Byron Bay

You maybe able to see the light house on top of hills. Will be climbing up to it later.

Spotted some wild life on the beach next to us. Also some surfers. Did not go for a swim. Water OK but a cold wind.

The photos of the house are from the front and back. Built for the summer so not a lot of sun gets in. Each room has a heat pump, so can keep it cool in summer and cosy in winter.
