White Rock is a suburb south of Vancouver. Not to far from the US border. A bus stop is right outside their entrance. We catch a bus to Bridgeport and from there the Sky train. Takes about 90 minutes to the Waterfront.
We get a day pass for all transport ( including some ferries) for $7.50. Excellent value. The Sky train will take you from the airport to the waterfront in Downtown Vancouver. Auckland is well behind.
My first impressions of Vancouver is a city that is built around trees. I don't think I have seen a city with so many trees.
