Our first wet day. Took a Taxi to the Fort Halifax and then walked a couple of km in the rain back to boat.
The fort dates back to the mid 1700's. Originally wood but after being burnt down rebuilt with granite and iron sand. The fort has never seen action and today is a museum but has it own guard.
They are not wine barrels but powder kegs.
We found a friend for Nala and Fern at the boat in our room
